    Hi guys,

Sorry if this thread has been done before but I am looking to develop my chess skills (or lack thereof).

Is there any chess club in Cork welcoming new members etc?

    Thanks

Hey partyguinness, I'm an avid chess enthusiast (I won't say player, because that stipulates I can actually play the game :P) there's meetings every friday night in Cork City down on Patricks Quay, think it's a bridge/chess club or something, if you fancy going along there some night give me a shout. Love OTB chess and it's hard enough to find these days!
