hi guys, im getting married in june and i'll be wearing a traditional morning suite with a black jacket and Grey pin stripped trouser. I'd love a good quality pair of those two tone shoes that you occasionally saw in films from the 30's or 40's. I think the are called spectator shoes. Can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere i might find a pair?

    Thanks a million

I think a google and order online is probably your best bet. Spectators are mostly found in golf shoes these days and I've not noticed any in the shoe shops recently. Mind you, I've not been looking out for them.
I DID however see a lovely pair of Loakes just before christmas in Arnotts that had two contrasting textures of leather, a fine finish and a coarser, more 'nubbly' finish that gave the impression of two tone even though they were black.
"Can I try these in a 10G please?"
    "Sorry sir, not in stock".
    "Noooooooooooo!" [Shakes fist at Arnotts]

OP, follow OldGoat to e-bay. There are plenty about (I've just been e-bay shopping for shoes). You might even pick up a genuine vintage pair.

    Going OT for a moment.
I've bought lots of vintage clothes over the years but I just can't bring myself to wear someone elses shoes. I could never wear anyones football boots at school and as for going bowling! Even the thought of it make me shudder. No problem with jackets, hats, suits and shirts. It's just shoes. Weird?

Not really. I would be a bit similar. Especially if someone was loaning my a pair.
When I got my brogues lastnight I had no trouble trying them on, though, but I wasn't thinking about previous owners. It's like buying a piece of meat, but not thinking about where it came from.
I draw the line at vintage underwear, though!
