I was just wondering if anyone else is a bit of a homebird like me??! Don't get me wrong, I love going away on holidays but I find it hard to spend too much time away from home without getting really homesick. I get really down, loose my apitite and get really bad pains in my stomach!!! Recently my boyfriend and I have been made redundant. The options are to stay here and look for work (there's not much in our sector) or go away, either to work or to travel abroad. The second two options both excite and terrify me!! I'd hate the fear of being homesick to stop me taking this opportunity but I'm really scared at the idea of leaving my family and friends. Has anyone experienced this and got over it?? Any tips?
