As some of you may know, I live in Newbridge. This makes getting to the boards spins on Saturdays a bit of a pain. I had the idea (while talking with Gavin this morning) that maybe a few of us could head over from Kildare to the mountains and meet up with the main spin at some stage a long the way. What do people think?

it's fairly reasonable to go from naas or blessington up over kilbride, sally, laragh, wicklow sort of loop. trying to coordinate the meeting at say kippure or something would be the tricky bit.

I often cycle to Blessington via Naas & Eadstown.
I could hook up in Naas & cycle up to Sally Gap with you.

Sounds like an idea. Another idea would be for us Dublin people to try a few spins out Kildare way. Raam and myself went out through Ballymore Eustace on the way to Waterford and subsequently emty, tom, tiny & myself went out there and it was very pleasant once off the main road. There is actually plenty of hilly stuff the other side of the N81 as Raam and myself discovered.

There's 3 of us from MAD who like to occasionaly dabble on the dark side (cycling on roads that is) all based in Naas. We do a couple of loops - Naas, Laragh, Enniskerry, Naas or Naas, Laragh, Sally Gap, Kilbride, Naas. Let me know if you plan on doing anything.
