Does anybody know any charities out that that accept old glasses? I recently had laser eye surgery and I have three pairs of old glasses I'd like to get rid of. I seem to remember hearing something about giving glasses to charities but I can't remember where.

    Hi JJ
Nearly every opticians (both independants and chain stores) will accept your old glasses for charity, regardless of whether they have a box saying it or not. A courior company has a deal with a charity "Vision Aid Overseas" (very reputable, a lot of optometrists do some work with them) so that they will deliver the spex to the charity's HQ for free.
    Hope this helps
