Great achievement, but my god, watching that video was torture... Americanised, uber-positive, pseudo-propaganda! :) Its like a really bad version of a Michael Moore movie.

Fat guy with muscle, bad posture, terrible camera work and sh1t lighting diets down to become lean guy with favourable lighting conditions and camera work, and muscle.

Good work on dieting for 4 months, but I'm not all that impressed.

If he was lifting already (which obviously he must've been), he already had the muscle and just had to drop the fat to show it.

Here's a quick hint about bullsh1t and reality.

If occasional key words are in bold or capitals, if the website is a single page that goes on for many, many scrolls of your mouse wheel, and if they use words like amazing real life and have lots of testimonials, don't email them.

The man got fit well done. I doubt it was 5 months or he'd have stretch marks and loose skin, but well done all the same. Lots of people are doing it without their website being optimised for google though. So maybe stop searching for internet challenges and go for a walk. Says me here at half past midnight. I'm waiting on an upload that's my excuse.

Great links from lifofifo. I suppose people just want the quick fix. If you look at the before shots, the guy is a big man anyway. Just carrying that extra around he's getting a workout just standing up. He looks damn near three times my body weight, so if I wore a body suit that weighed twice my body weight for a year I'm fairly sure my muscles would grow underneath(open to correction there). He's also a very broad man. Now if he was also an alcoholic to the degree claimed that's going to make him stodgy and reduce his test and HGH levels too.

He could also be an unusual person. A "freak" if you will. Some are right off the scale of the average human. Look at the huge bodybuilders that many people take the píss out of. Somebody like the Ronnie Coleman chappy. "Oh it's all steroids". Arse to that. You could pump me full of anabolics to the point where I had six tits, nuts like pumpkin seeds and a one inch pecker and I wouldn't come close to that size, not least because I wouldn't have a tenth of the dedication of those men and I simply wouldn't have the natural extreme ability either. I may not want to look like them, but I admire their ability and dedication.

I've a mate who is a fit man. Fitter than a butchers dog. Really well built chap. Gym rugby, weights etc. Younger than me too. His eyelids are fitter than my entire body and I've got more of a six pack than him. Bear in mind my stomach muscles would be such that if a mosquito hit me in the belly at anything over 5KPH I'd be bent double. I've simply less body fat. Six pack in 12 weeks? Hell I could do it in a month without a second in the gym. Eat leaner than I do and cut out beer. Actually gives me an idea for a money making website. I type in bold often enough so I just need the right keywords:D

Major transformations can be done. I've seen it here in the fitness logs. I have personally seen men and women make big changes. Real diffs. But their dedication was to an almost extreme, nay obsessive level and fair play, as obsessions go it's hardly the worst by any measure. It took at least a year though.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

    its called being realistic

dont tell me u believe that guy just turned from an overweight alcoholic blob into a mens fitness cover model in 5 months just by cutting out the junkfood and a bit of training..

    or do u?

What should make you sick is how easily manipulated and controlled people are by people who are looking to pursue their own ends which usually includes making a fast buck.

You think a fat out of shape person can build that kind of muscle and get that shape in a five month period? For someone fit as a fiddle and starting to lift weights it would not even be possible!

You posted a thread up only the other day complaining about how hard it is to keep at your routine without seeing dramatic visible gains instantly, can't you see the correlation between buying into claims like this one and those feelings? If you spend all day looking at dubious and unrealistic claims like this of course your own progress will look pathetic and dispiriting in contrast. There's a difference between being inspired by someone else and buying into nonsense claims you can't possibly come close to emulating.

    Firstly hes not selling anything

Secondly he didnt gain much or any muscle

He just lost 40lbs of fat in 20 weeks

He probably did some water manipulation and had a good phtographer for the after pics

actually he is selling stuff, the "transformed" guy isnt the sales man

its the guy bill phillips who owns the site who stands to profit here

if you register on the site or even visit it the site gains more hits and a higher ranking in google

this increases its value and money can be made in a number of clever ways such as selling advertising, affiliate marketing and a myriad of other ways

besides if u look below the picture of the bill philips guy you will see fitness related books and bills transform ur body books and also links to supplement sites(probably also owned by bill philips) or giving him a % from every sale ,theres even a link to amzon shop to purchase bills products !

if you think that site is anything other than advertisemnet you are

    a:deluded

    b:affiliated with bill philips

    C:Hi Bill! hows life?

When are you going to get a move on and start working out and making changes? All this talking and visiting sites with unrealistic claims by owners with plastic surgery scare me and freak me out. You seem completely brainwashed and totally deluded.

If you want to look good - WORK HARD! Now hit the gym, lift some weights, do some hiit, eat healthy and frequently and you will start looking good.

I'm closing this before it turns into a trainwreck of personal insults.

Vampireskiss - it's a shame you can't apply the same tenacity you show with your ability to re-reg to your training and eating habits.
