Looking to purchase a thermal binder for sub 100euro.. Any recommendations? How is the booklet held together? Is there much work in it?

    Thanks

Thermal binders as far as I know are not worth the hassle/grief unless you are binding a ridiculous amount of pretty short life spanned pieces. this is called Perfect Binding, magazines use it. For longer, more robust pieces you should hand stitch them, but for the moment lets assume you want to get one. They are very easy to use.

I leafs are held together by a glue strip that is heated by a metal plate, you can get one on ebay for less than €50

The most important thing to do in thermal binding is sand down the end you are binding to improve glue soakage, this will move the life span of the bind beyond one day.
