That'll be the 38 and probably 38A as well. But only at certain times. HTH

No busses go by Scholar's. You must be either in Old Court/Ballycragh or on Ballycullen Drive. Either way, the 49 is the only bus that will take you into town.

Along the length of Ballycullen Road, continuing past Woodstown there is the 74.

Along Ballycullen Road between Firhouse Road and Ballycullen Drive are the 49 and 49A.

Passing the Scholars there is one bus per day in each direction - the 15F.

10-15 min walk up to Scholarstown road and pick up the 15 as well.

Whereabouts in town do you need to get off ?

    Well there are your answers:

Along the length of Ballycullen Road, continuing past Woodstown there is the 74.

Along Ballycullen Road between Firhouse Road and Ballycullen Drive are the 49, 49A and 49X, the latter being an express service from Templeogue.

    http://www.dublinbus.ie/your_journey/viewer.asp?route=49X

Passing the Scholars there is one bus per day in each direction - the 15F.

And if you walk along the link road across the M50, you will catch the 15 on Scholarstown Road, which has a much higher frequency than the other routes, and the 15X on the other side of the road, which operates express from Rathfarnham Village.

Hopefully at least one of these should sort you out!
