fitness regeme and diet

    last year I only got to the gym 1-2 times a week and have decided to change that this year, so i try to get an hour in the morning 3-4 times a week and have kept it up so far this year, and am enjoying it.

    im not fat by any stretch of the imagination, but i have a little bit of a belly.

    my aim is to by May-June have some sembelance of abdominals visible and build up the pec's a little bit along with over all fitness.

    My Daily regeme is as follows:

    12 mins(2km) on the treadmill at a speed of 12kph throughout, or 12 mins at level 6 on the cross trainer to get the heart pumping.

    3 reps of 50 situps using a gym ball. i dont like regular situps as after a week of them im usually not able to go back to the gym with really bad back pains.

    3 reps of 15 where i lie on my back and hold my legs out straight and bring them up vertical and back again, never touching the ground. This is really really really tough on the abs.

    3 reps of 12 standard lifting for the triceps and same for the biceps. i set the machine to allow me lift 6 weights. unfortunately im not sure if each weight is a kg or what. il check that out.

    3 reps of 12 pulling down weights, for my shoulders and pec's. ii set the machine to allow me lift 7 weights.

    3 reps of 10 lying on my back and bench pressing using teh multi gym machine. in this case i set the machine to allow me to lift 6 weights.

    I then have a stretch and thats me done.


    For breakfast then about 45-60mins later i have a poached egg and beans on 2 small slices of mulgigrain wholemeal bread toasted, as im told eggs and beans are a decent protien source.

    I also try to avoid chips and other potato sources at dinner, instead having salad.

    im currently about 10.5 stone in weight and just want to loose the belly and bulk up a bit.

    any advice on the regeme, and how it could be altered to better effect, or perhaps the diet?
