BMW vrt on extras

    is there a way i can find out what extra vrt i will have to pay on extras for a 05 bmw CD se, 20k miles, leather interior ?

    Well you will be selecting the se option on the revenue site so anything standard on an se car is included in the vrt quote. You would need to find out what additional options you have and the cost of these options new. The revenue then charge for them (at the vrt rate) on a reducing scale until there is no charge over 4 years old so in your case there would be little or no charge. In fact they generally dont inspect the car if over 4 years.

    Chance a very rainy day late in the evening yer man won't be too miffed about extras preferably on a friday evening.

    work out the cost of the extras on your car, depreciate them by 75% and then
    take the vrt rate of what you get. If it is a diesel it seems like it won't be much.
