what happensa now...furniture insurance

    hi all,
    just wonding about my 5 year furniture insurance.
    i bought this when i bought my suite of furniture.

    my question is. now that this shop(L of L) is shutting down what happends to my insurance?

    do i lose it?
    or is there something i should be doing to make sure i dont lose it?

    advice please

    I too took out the insurance 2 years ago. Haven't had a chance to look at the docs, but my guess is the policy is underwritten by an insurance company not L of L so they will continue to guarantee the policy.

    Check the policy..

    As far as i know, the insurance is generally with a broker/insurance agent rather than the actual vendor of the product..
