Skype on K850i (Three)

I have an unbranded K850i with a Three SIM. I can't download the Skype client through Planet 3 -getting an operation failed message. Anybody got a link to the actual Skype client from Three ? Their UK support pages are borked and will only let you choose your phone model.

Yep. It brings up a 3 webpage - clicked on "continue upgrade" and off it went.

Does it connect to skype, the reason I ask is the web page for skype on 3ireland planet 3 has a three.ie address not three.co.uk

Yep.It connected and downloaded my contacts. Chatting works fine.

If you select a call it will prompt to dial an 083 number which would indicate that it "knows" of 3 Ireland.
