    Hi

Does anyone know where I could get fake lashes that last for six weeks + done?

I don't want really obvious lash extensions. I would prefer that they look natural and bambi-like and not too long :-)

I rang them and they said no. Theyre are temp - just one day. One Lash in the Powerscourt Center does them but their number on their Bebo page which ranks No.1 when searching for them doesnt work.

I found the ones you get in Boots really good and easy to apply, only takes a minute once you're used to it, but they'll only last a day. Only around €8 though!

Thank you. I just left a message. Id like to get the extensions done. How do they fare out in the shower? Say I got them done today - would they still be as good as new on at theh weekend?

They fare fine in the shower, and in the pool. The only thing they don't like is oil and too much mascara.

Properly done they will look good for 15/16 days, after which you'd be looking at getting them refilled.

They are available in a variety of lengths so you can tell the therapist what look you are endeavouring to achieve.

They work best on people whose lashes lie quite flat ordinarily; they don't suit everybody's lash type/ eye shape which is why some people do experience them falling out relatively quickly.

I have long extensions on all the time and don't look after them particularly well and get minimum two weeks out of them. I'd prob get longer but I'm fussy!

They do ruin your own lashes though.... you have been warned!!!

Might be of interest to all you short eyelash-ed girls like me, a new drug coming out which makes your eyelashes grow longer

my friend got them done in Mac in BT's.

think they were around €20 and then the glue was extra for reapplying them.

The girl applied them and explained they come off with warm water and can be reused

if i was ever getting them done, id go to Mac, the girls are so nice.

A friend of mine got them done, and i think it was in Nuala Wolfe's beauty salon in sandycove, i had a look at the website and it doesn't say anything about it, but maybe try calling them, 01 230 0244, or you could always ask in MAC or anywhere else that does temporary lashes if they know where you could get the long lasting extentions?
