    Hi
is anyone else having trouble using sharewatch to trade i am constantly getting error messages like 'blank return' or 'the shares are currently not available to trade' even though i might have traded same shares that same day, also their share price as quoted is always way behind any other quote

Try phone trading instead of the online platform, By phoning sharewatch you will get more or less the actual live price of stock you want to trade which is very important for day trading, if you are buying stocks for med or longterm investment then go either with online platform or phone.

Once your a/c has been set up you can buy and sell in a few minutes once you have cleared funds or sold recent stock to cover the value of trade in your account.

Filling up the forms for sharewatch at the moment. Whats the Crest thingy about?

So with Sharewatch, i can log on, buy shares at say 8.00a.m., sell at 8.30a.m? And any profit or loss is taken from my funds i lodge to their ulster bank account in cork. Is it that straight forward? Well obviously there are the charges commission etc.

Yes, any profit-loss after commision and tax charges are added or deducted from your sharewatch a/c for each trade.

Ranger4, you seem to know a low about Sharewatch, Have you an A/C with them. Putting the application in the post this weekend. Are there better companies or will i give Sharewatch a go. I'm not interested in buying and keeping shares. Just buy if they fall and sell when they go up. A quick buck!! Well, hopefully i'll not loose by principle!

Nib offer good commision charges but can be a little slow on placing stock buy or sell upto 20 min so if you intend to day trade sharewatch are the way to go.
