I am looking to buy second hand car. Am thinking about BMW or Mercedes gice the current economic state of things, some good deals to be done. Confused though on which make/model petrol or diesel.

I drive about 10k miles per year. would appreciate all the advice . I have had bad luck with cars the past couple years purchase wise and mechanically. Thank You.

A good diesel car and German.

I have found the BMW 320 Coupe pretty good.

    Great on fuel...I drive about 20k a year and it does nearly 50 mpg..6 gears..its a 2.0 litre and looks **** hot...

Depends on how much you are willing to spend/years in question/how much space you need etc.
