On sunny days, go relax by the canals. Go to Eyre Square and listen to musicians.

On rainy days, go to the various cafes around the city and hang out. Java's has a piano.

The bowling alley (headford road next to tesco) is a neat place to go every once in a while, they have an air hockey table and a pool table too. Get yourself a drink from subway and make use of the free refills :)

Depends on what you're into really. Are you an outdoorsy person? An artsy person? A sporty person?

It can seem like there's nothing to do in Galway when you've just moved here, specially during the winter, but there's tons going on. Welcome aboard.

As others have asked, what do you like to do? Are you musical, sporty etc.

There's something for (almost) everyone in Galway imho - it's just a matter of doing a bit of groundwork to find clubs etc.

OP, tell us yer hobbies, won't be long finding something to do.
