wedding venue

    hi we are looking to get married in moyvalley hotel in ballina co.kildare has anyone had any on hand experience of a wedding at this venue. also the cost is like 105 euro per person for champagne reception right the way through 4 course meal and chair covers and also includes toast, does this price sound good or expensive in this current enviroment , i wanna have a good day and would like some feedback on this hotel, any replies would be greatly appreciated

    Hope all your planning is going well. Well, the only quote I have to date is €138 in a place we want to get married in Paris. Everyone says that's very expensive. I think your price is above average but you're getting a champagne reception so things like this make the average price more. To me, it doesn't sound too bad, not sure what venue is like.

    veto! the food is horrific at this hotel. dont touch it. you could get so much better for that money. it looks pretty in the brochure but aint so in reality im afraid. the reception room is awful too. good luck !
