I agreed with a friend of mine over the weekend that I wouldn't trim my beard until our history exam in april. I'm allowed keep the tache out of my mouth but otherwise nada. What's the longest you've gone without trimming and how did it turn out? I've had my beard for about three months now already and haven't trimmed since christmas so its already in need kind of. What can I expect over the next few months??

Strange looks and the occasional passerby giving you spare change.

You've got to trim beardy. Allowing him to grow unkempt is akin to not washing your lad.

    4 months :p

I got fed up taking a bite of my moustache every time I ate a sandwich so I trimmed it. :D

Tell me about it! My first flight with a full beard (about 4 or 5 months worth) was a strange experience.

Probably now. I haven't trimmed (parts) my beard in over 4 years. It just...stopped growing.

My passport pic is clean shaven, but now I've full goatee - you do get interesting looks from those in passport control.

Unfortunately I have to shave about every second day because although my hair is brown I have a ginger beard.

    And?

So is mine, and I had a beard for most of 2008. :)

    Embrace your ginger beard! :D
