    Hi, when I switch my lap top on I get a few pages ie Messenger etc.... that pop up, I know theres a way to limited the amount of pages that open on start up, can someone tell me how to do it please? Thanks.

    Try the attached program. Just run it and you can untick what you don't want to start :)

    ++ edit - the program is called AutoStartMgr if you would rather Google it. I know some people are warey of running random (no pun intended!) programs.

    go to start / run /type the word msconfig press enter
    go to startup on the top line and unckeck yhe ones you dont want to run next time you start up you will be offered a box tick selective startup from this
