I've never heard of that in my life.
I think those people are actually just pale skinned.

I've never heard of this! I believe Dita's trick is factor 50 and generally avoiding sunlight...

    Glad its not just me...
OP, I'd say just looking after your skin - using a decent body scrub to remove dead skin cells every time you show, use a really good body cream/moisteriser afterwards - will give you that kind of skin.

Heh, I don't know if you can't actually get this 'done' as such. I think you're just born like that!

Sort of nice to hear of someone wanting to be pale though! :D

They have whitening treatments all over Asia ... is that what the OP is referring to?

You won't find much here in Ireland but as Glowing said, it's big in Asia and in America for non 'whites'.

Is your girlfriend quite tanned or non Caucasian?

I think Darphin skincare have a whitening moisturiser. Also maybe check Shisedo and SKII as they are asian companies. Asians are obsessed with being pale. Other than that she could get MAC Face n Body or Make-up Forever Face n Body in the palest shade and apply it like an instant tan when she goes out.

I'm pretty sure those actors would have body make-up on them to even out blotchiness. There's also a pancake make-up used in film and tv to even out skintone you can get in Make-up Forever. I'll have a look in my kit and see if I can find it. Edit: Okay this isn't the one I have but the same kinda thing. Go to this website http://www.bennye.com/image/2007_BNC_Catalog.pdf And scroll down to colour cake foundations. (page 16)

I don't like girls with a porcelain complexion, they just look ill.

Never heard of it either I think those women are naturally fair which I have to say I find very attractive and much nicer than the fake tan look. I think it looks very healthy and of course it probably is because they have no sun damage.

They're naturally pale but as Larianne said, you can bet your @ss they still have body make-up on to even out their skin tone and give them that flawless finish. Nobody, no matter how pale or tanned, has perfectly matte and even skin tone all over their body.
