Is it just me or is the show slipping lately? This episode was fairly boring and the case was just meh.

Wasnt the best alright. The Cuddy/baby storyline doesnt really interest me.

this week's episode was one of the worse in my opinion.

Mostly because they havee 3 big story elements and they opt to continue the most boring one and quietly kill the two more interesting ones.

Cuddy/baby storyline could have been good if it had been fleshed out for a couple of episodes, there were key points brought up during this episode that could have been entire episodes in themselves. The most obvious of which I thought was Wilson telling House about Cuddy's indecisiveness. He seriously ripped it into her in that scene, it was very vicous which didnt even have his trademark humour but was expected of him but how both Wilson and Cuddy just let it wash under the bridge as *House is right* was bizarre, I would have thought Cuddy would have ripped Wilson a new one for betraying her trust and Wilson would have gone to House and moaned about himself being a enabler.

This plotline could have easily gone for 3 episodes, paired with the equally good but absolutely wasted plotline of Cameron filling in for Cuddy. Except all we got was a half arsed gaming ssome coy innuendo's and then Cameron giving up the job for probably the dumbest reasons.

Cameron will always say Yes to House, someone else would always say No to House and Cuddy would be inbetween...

Yes...except Cuddy does always say yes to House (or he goes around her) and Cameron disproved her own theory by asking for proof before saying yes to most of his requests and only allowing the really risky one because he couldnt get proof otherwise.

How is this any different to anything Cuddy had done before hand?

There was so much potential there in this set up.

You had the baby issue with Cuddy and maybe her inability to give up her role competing with Cameron (who might end up doing a better job then Cuddy in some areas.)

You had maybe a whole element with Chase becoming annoyed with Cameron's new position.

And even could have *groan* tied it into the thirteen foreman situation if he gets busted for tampering with the drug trial and Cameron is forced to deal out the punishment.

    So much wasted potential.

In contrast the foreman thirteen storyline drags on with some of the crine worthy scenes in House history. I almost cried at the *I want kids* line.

Will they kill her and be done with PLEASE!

    overall very poor episode.

I liked the 'Cameron as Cuddy' story, and she was entertaining to watch in that role. The case was really boring though.

I don't particularly dislike 13. I just don't care what happens to her. Which really takes away from scenes like the one at the end.

The only reasonably way to progress 13 at all is for her health to go down the pan when she's put onto the real drug. Taub and Kutner aren't going anywhere at the moment either.

    rumour is
thats what is gonna happen in the coming episodes, also wiki says it will happen

Kautner and Taub are interesting without much need to make any sort of plotlines with them though. As I said in a previous thread, they have only done 1 subplot with Taub (while its been 3 with thirteen) and they were well able to flesh his own out piece by piece and keep it interesting over 2 seasons (him cheating on his wife)

They actually havnt done anything with Kutner, which is great because he has still been entertaining and appealing despite not having any substantial plotting down with him, so it can only improve with more plotting.

i actually think this is the worst episode too, well,ya know, this drama is always good, what i mean worst here is comparing to its others episodes' quality.

cuddy/baby part is boring and Foreteen part is just annoying.

i thought cuddy/baby part is purposed to get House into the father role play ,the writer can pull more stories between cuddy and house but somehow they messed it up in this episode.Or,we are supposed to get the message of parent/kid's 'tough-to-grow-you-up' ,a service for parent viewers?

Foreteen part made me miss the old team, way more interesting stories when they were there.

Cameron as a boss is such a good idea,i want more of that!!i hope they wont just kill this idea off straight away, bring it back someday!

and yes i miss the clinic patients so much
