    Hi,
I am looking to book flights for the April 10 - 12th Weekend, but really need to know when the Leinster game will be.

Anybody know when this will be confirmed?

    Thanks

Most likely tomorrow once the draw for the semi's are made.

If the game is moved to twickerham it can't be held on the friday (that's most likely for the Munster game) so I'd guess Sat/Sun

Don't forget that's easter weekend ....so there's a bank holiday on the monday if that makes it easier for you. Also means that if Munster are playing on the friday it'll be a 'dry' night in limerick

Cheers. Just booked flights. British Midland to Heathrow. Over on Friday for 5.00 which should give me enough time to get to an evening kick off and then fly back Sunday at 10.00 in the evening.

The cost was 160. Aer Lingus was slightly more, Ryanair to Standstead slightly less.

Forget Stansted if the match is in Twickenham. Or even at Harlequins own ground which is close enough to Twickenham.

They're both in West London, or even Middlesex. Stansted is in bloody Essex, ie the part of England closest to Holland! You would have to factor in a £26.80 (stg) return fare on the train from Stansted just to get to Liverpool St (which takes about three quarters of an hour) and then you have to hike your way right across London. You're talking a Tube ride and then at least one more train. Another hour at least.

Much handier to go to Heathrow, jump on the Picadilly line tube and then change on to the district line to get to Richmond. The stadium is walkable from there although I believe there are buses to the ground as well.

Alternatively, Gatwick is a better option than Stansted. You can either get the Express into Victoria and then come back out to Clapham Junction to pick up a train from Waterloo to Twickenham, or you can get a slow train in from Gatwick which stops at Clapham Junction anyway. Check the timetables and make your choice.

Stansted is only to be considered if there is a ridiculously cheap alternative (to offset the extra rail costs) or if you have so much free time that hiking across the home counties for a couple of hours means nothing to you.
