Hi Lads,

I've been asked about this several times, so I finally got around to organising the second young guns day:

The Uprising - An under 18s operation at Fingal Airsoft

"The next generation of airsoft!"

Operation Uprising:

• Date: 21st of Febuary
• Location: Fingal Airsoft
• Times: TBC
• Objective: Fun
• Requirements: Minimal
• Rules: 13 -18 years inclusive

Myself and Bren agree that this is a long overdue event. We held the 1st YG day months ago, and that had a very respectable turnout, lets do the same again time. All players from 13-18 inclusive should definitely try to be there. I'm in the process of talking to the YG teams, try and get them to come in force. That said, first timers are welcome, and we'd love to show you the ropes. I played with eight new players yesterday and it was one of the best days gaming I've seen in a long time. All you need is yourself, suitable clothing(see note), and your wallet

The games:
Lots of fast paced stuff, updates soon and suggestions welcome.

Facilities:[/B
]- I'll be dloing quick repairs in the safe zone:)
-Two Fast Food places within 30 seconds walk, and a Centra.

Clothing:
-Boots are heavily advised, see attached image.
-Dark hoodies are good.
-Gloves are a great idea, make sure you can still operate your gun though.
-Leave the high street fashion behind, we cant guarantee you wont get a little dirty.
-Avoid clothes that will chafe, you'll be moving alot.

Rentals:
-Update Soon.

Transport:
-Directions and map, link soon.
-Train timetables, up soon.
-Car Pool, info in next post.

Lots of updates soon, and I'll be constantly adding to this.

I'll be updating the carpool post above in a sec, you might get a lift, offering cookies is always helpful. I might even have a spare space, I'll know closer to the date. Where abouts are you located?

Gates will open at 10am as normal,

Gormanston is the next stop after Balbriggan on the train, If travelling by bus This is the bus service to Gormanston

i could come, hows the best way to get there from howth? and how much money should i bring? also shud i bring my own bbs? (first timer) also can i just wear googles? me and my mate are gona go, but we never done this b4. can some1 explain?

You could get a train from Howth junction to Gormanston, I can then give you a lift from there to the site.:)
We have bb's for sale on site and we insist on full face protection, we have mask's onsite too and we don't charge for the use of them.;);)

I'll put it like this: Under 16 requires full face protection i.e. a mask, I've seen to many teeth get broken or chipped.
Over 16 a balaclava and googles will suffice.

That lift would be great . Should i bring my own tho(bbs)? and how much are they? also i have a balaclava and goggles for myself but in 2 months im 16 does that matter? also my mate doesnt have a gun and wants to rent one, you do rents right? also how much for a gun and what do you have? sorry for asking so many questions, im a first timer

There will be an AEG up for first prize sponsered by Dave Stacey from Ops Command's shop in Drogheda:D:D Thanks Dave;);)
I will be putting up some free passes for Fingal Airsoft, more to be added!

Also Take Aim will be down to cover the days events, this will be spread over a couple of pages in the next issue:D:D:eek::eek::D
