    i have chaged from a 2007 Octavia TDI to a 2009 A4 2L TDI (120bhp).
The one thing i have noticed is the lack of acceleration in 5th gear in the A4 compared to the octavia. (great car apart from that though:))

i have read a fair bit on remapping on this site and i am still wondering about advertised increases v actual.

can anyone please offer some advise on remapping (resistor boxes not wanted)and also whether i should leave the remapping for a while as i have only 1500km on the clock.

BTW i did not opt for the 140bhp model as it was €2,500 dearer which is a fair bit for the same car with a tuned engine (?)

My concern on a 2009 car would be what impact would a remap have on the manufacturer's warranty if you needed warranty work done.

You shouldnt have been so miserable and bought the 170Bhp or the 3.0 TDI :D:D:D

Probably better off going for a tuning box till the warranty runs out.

I don't think there is one available yet for that model, but superchips will likely have a bluefin remap available soon.

They send you a unit and a map, the unit will store your factory map before it loads the new one. You can then load the factory one back on whenever you want to.
