    Hi everyone,

Heading to a ball on the 12th of Feb and was hoping to find a dress! I'd love to get my hands on an ankle length one but dont know where to look, anyone know of any websites that I could check out before trekking into town? I'm in Dublin.

    Thanks,

Best bets for a large selection are the obvious: Coast, Monsoon and Debenhams. www.coast-stores.com , www.monsoon.co.uk and http://www.debenhams.com/ . Unfortunately as these are popular for ball-gown shopping, you may run the risk of someone else having the same dress but that probably is fairly unlikely! At least by trying these stores though, you can get a good idea of what does and doesn't suit you and then you could maybe try the more boutiquey shops.

Do you have a budget? Might be easier for people to recommend if we know how much you're willing to spend!

Monsoon have a sale on at the moment, lots of their dresses are 70% off! I got a dress on Saturday that was down to €75 from €250, it is absolutely beautiful. It is a bit annoying cos they don't have every dress in every size, there was a purple dress I fell in love with but it just wasn't in my size, but that's sales for ya...! :D

Well I wouldnt mind spending up to 400euro if it was a really beautiful dress. Needs to have proper straps though, not a big fan of strapless of shoestring straps. I tried TkMaxx yesterday but found nothing!
