Putting on weight

I'm 22 years old, about 5'10", weigh a measly 8 stone and pretty much no muscle!

I've always wanted to do something about it, and finally decided i will now! I just really want to put on weight and get fit again!

I have a fairly mixed diet of crap food like mcdonalds and burger king for lunch and homemade dinners in the evening, miss breakfast every day so end up getting sausage rolls or wedges for break, drink beer 3 or 4 nights a week and smoke!

I don't intend on giving up drink or smoking but just looking to start on a proper diet of food and doing some excercise to try build up my weight and muscle!

So, just wondering if anyone can advise me what foods i should start eating and what kind of excercises i could do at home (not really in a financial position to join a gym)!

    Any advice or tips?

    Harsh truth time.

Give up smoking. There. You've paid for gym membership.

Drink shedloads of Milk on top of a healthy diet.

But, I feel I'm wasting my time writing this post. I'd wager you haven't read the stickies, or done a search. And now, you lazily want a way not to alter your lifestyle and get big, strong, and fit.

In fact, give up the McDonald's/Burger King and you'll have more money, enough to buy decent food.
