    hello
I am just wondering if i have broken some sort of rule by this.A few days ago we received a letter from our head office explaining that due to the recession etc that recruitment was frozen and any pay rises due were also frozen until further notice. It asked to make sure all staff were aware of this. The same day this letter arrived i asked a friend about joining a trade union as I thought it might be a good idea.i actually asked her before Christmas but I had lost the info.So when i got the ph number again and a contact name I put it on a notice board. It was next to the afrementioned letter .Then today head office management were visiting and my immediate manager just whipped down the letter and ph number glare and snapped this shouldnt be here. Now the notice board could be seen by non direct employees too but no-one ever EVER pays attention to it.I had left it there for convienience i.e near the phone.
Have i broken some sort of rule ?
