Milking the system? Dole blodging, carear mothers, faking illness, etc. There are lots of people who seem to do nothing and still have everything. Sueing the council seems to be quite a popular way for lazy fcukers to get cash.
I now people like this, probably everyone does. It could also be that they're dodging taxes and so on, lots of people do that too.

People who buy crap pop music like S club and Mary J Blige and 50 cent.
People who think '8 mile' is a great film.
People who get into their phone so much they change the cover once a month, buy heaps of ringtones and screensavers and send pictures to beat the band, generally wasting money on sh*te.

People who own a small dog, carry it around in a handbag, dress it in a jumper and call it 'Fluffy'.

And people who hang around with toffs and talk like this:

"Oh Fiacra, have you like seen Lorcan?"
"I think he is out with Finnlay and like Rachael"
"Ohhhh, it's just that Padraic like gave me an antique oil painting to give to him as a present, his great great great grandad Roger Syngyn Peters Walthorpe painted it back in like 1804"
"Wanna come back to my penthouse apartment, it's all like modern don't yooo know and absatively pro-mo, I hope to get some sort of pet that like doesn't
like need much attention and is clean as I wont be like around, have no love to give and am like just about all the way up my own rectal passage!"

Threads about what pisses people off normally do it for me ;)

But honestly, people who keep hounding you to do something regardless of how much you already have on your plate, but that might just be because I'm really bad at time management...

Pisses me off when people keep insisting/assuming you're in a bad/pissed-off mood when you're not. By the 10th time they ask "you really are in a bad mood, aren't you?", you will be...

    Bad drivers.
    Queue jumpers.
    Nit Pickers.
People who don't say please and thanks.
    Polyphonic ringtones.
    TV ads for polyphonic ringtones.
    Reality TV.
    Rising property prices.
People who say 'like' half a dozen times in every sentence.
People who drive with their foglights on all the time. :D

And on. And on. And on. How long have you all got?

Lisa.c that is really annoying isn't - least you have your pride. A lot of "single mothers" are getting lone parents, working and getting cash in hand, their partners are living with them in council houses without the knowledge of the council and they are paying the minimum rent, they get the fuel allowance, back to school allowance and pretty much everything else allowance. Also its not just single parents who are milking the system - just using this as an example. I know one particular girl with 3 kids doing this and she is driving around in a big jeep. Personally I couldn't do it. At the end of the day I have my pride and I've pretty much worked my ass off since I was 15. I like the feeling you've earned your money and proud to earn my own money and support myself but like you it really does piss me off that we have to pay higher tax to keep some of these frauds in their designer gear. I think the dole and single parents allowance and great to be there to give people a chance who've had a tough time and it should only be a stepping stone until they can get back to work.

Back to your original question about what pisses me off - at the moment thankfully not much - pretty much content with my life at the moment (for now anyway). I have a tonne of pet hates though like people picking their nose in cars and snobby people who try and keep up with the Jones's.

People who say something and then deny that they did not say it and who go out of there way to prove that they did not say it, and then say well I wasn't really saying that I meant....... when other people point out that they actually said that.

    People who are arrogant.

People who think, for example "I'm a scientist you don't deserve my time" type arrogance.

People who can't see the wood for the trees

People who cannot stand by something they have said

People who cannot see another persons point of view

People who decide enough is enough when the argument is unfinished

People who ignore other people whatever their point of view

People who use their race as a tool.

That's probably it, I might have more.

Sorry to hear about your hard time TTC. There are some great discussion forums for women ttc. You would get great support, advice and these women will know exactly how you feel. Try magicmum.com and rollercoaster.ie for starters. These sites both have forums especially for women ttc. Wishing you all the luck for the future and hope you get what you really want.

    cruel parents
    VRT
    people driving jeeps in cities
    sanctimonious baxtards
    p1ss on the toilet seat
    not using indicators
    price of drink in pubs
people driving with their fog lights on at night
    ringtone ads on TV
ignorant customers (I meet a lot of them)
    the weather this summer

Probably lots more but I'm fresh out at the minute

Actually what really pisses me off is those charity worker ****ers around stephens green/grafton st. I work in stephens court on stephens green so I see them every day of the week at lunch hour and after work.
"Do u have a minute for concern" NO I ****ING DONT- I DIDNT HAVE A MINUTE YESTERDAY - OR THE DAY BEFORE - OR THE DAY BEFORE - OR ANY DAY FOR THE PAST 3 MONTHS!!! WHAT MAKES U THINK TODAY IS ANY DIFFERENT U ****ING ANNOYING ASSHOLE
And its not enough just to ignore them any more, they actually get in your way deliberately now, and when you say no to 1, theres another about 50 feet from him down the road, and then another, and another, no no no no no NO NO
Christ sake i swear i am never EVER donating a single cent to ANY charity for the rest of my life they have annoyed me that much

    skangers.
    knackers.
charity collectors (if i want to donate ill setup the direct debit myself).
celtic fans being celtic fans just so they can hate rangers.
    people banging doors.
annoying people on buses (drunks, smelly persons etc).
    ignorant people.
    naysayers.
the words 'genius' & 'legend' being used improperly (50cent is not a legend or genius).
people who think a movie is crap because it doesnt have any explosions or fight scenes.
people talking in the cinema. People texting or talking on their phone in the cinema.
    yes, those ringtone ads.
    Know-it-alls
    arrogance.
when person at the till in a pub or shop doesnt put the change back in my hand when I have it put out for that purpose (am i putting it there for the craic I ask you?).
the expense that this country incurs on my pocket.

there is more, but i could go on for a lot longer....

I could name a ton of things that would piss me off, but I dont let them because life is too short. ;)

One thing that annoys me, is the nasty triangle of love. meaning: A guy likes me but I dont like him and at the same time I like a guy that isnt interested in me cuz he really doesnt know how deep my feelings run for him.

Bus Eireann.... they haven't a clue what a f****g time table is.
Car insurance discrimination... I'm not like every other guy out there, why should I pay the price - as such I can't afford insurance, so I'm stuck with f****g Bus Eireann.
Irish Weather... especially when waiting for f****g Bus Eireann.
Hoopy earrings... reminds me of the circus act where the poodles jump through the rings!
Overweight women wearing belly tops and tight pants that they probably had to jump from the roof of a house to get into.
B.O. ... lynx is not going to make it disappear.
Chart music... I used to think Take That were pure sh*te, but I would more than welcome them back now.
Rip-off Ireland... Are we a nation of gullible people willing to pay any price. Don't people know the value of money any more or is it some people are so well off that they don't give a s**t.
Youth of Today... I know I was no angel when I was young but the kids these days seem to be alot worse.
Cinema... Can't remember the last time I was in a cinema without some idiot, either throwing popcorn, having their feet up on the seat, talking or shouting through the movie, texting, receiving/making calls.

Was nodding and agreeing with a few of the posts above....

    Rip-off Ireland
    Bad drivers
Car insurance costs coupled with €750 million profits for that industry
    Mobiles in the cinema

    ....to which I'd add
    User "friends"
    Prejudice
    Underhandedness/slyness
Our current government in general and Mary "Shop around" Harney in particular
The growing realisation that I'll probably never own property in this country

greed - i'm sick of the amount of greedy money grabbing people in this country - that is why we are just off the top spot in the 'most expensive countries to live in europe' league

    and the weather sucks ass!!!

This pisses me off rightly, clicky, the way scumbags can do whatever they like and get away with it. I know this was in the UK but the courts here are every bit as bad. Joyriding, vandalism, beatings and muggings will get these feckers a caution and a stern finger wagging and then their put back on the streets to do as they like.

    Stubborn people.
Bus Eireann.... they haven't a clue what a f****g time table is.
Car insurance discrimination... I'm not like every other guy out there, why should I pay the price - as such I can't afford insurance, so I'm stuck with f****g Bus Eireann.

Aye, going back to college Monday week. Will probably miss loads more morning lectures when 2 or 3 bus drivers in a row decide not to show up (and the buses are every 15 mins, so that's like an hour lost). Same thing going home after college. I'd walk but it's a 45 min walk and I don't want to be one of those B.O. people by the time I arrive in :)
Add lack of cycle lanes in Cork to my list there :)

Kids today. Okay I know they're bored, what with no playgrounds these days and massive consumption of green areas to build new houses, but why do they have to cause trouble for people for their own pleasure? Boredom is no excuse for what many scumbags get up to.

Obsessions. It really annoys me when some people are so devoted to something trivial that it becomes their life. A friend of mine cried a few days ago because she forgot the anniversary of the Beatles recording Love Me Do. Not to mention the pencil case which appears to be more important than life itself because she's pretending it's a character from The West Wing.

I end up knowing the strangest people. I must have been very bad in a past life.

I don't know if this is just Waterford but when you are driving up a road and people who want to come in from the side keep creeping out, then wait till you are nearly at them before pulling out like an eejit in front of you. They had plenty of time to get out but they wait and nearly have you crash into the back of them

Also, people that think its funny to call me an orange bastard coz i am a rangers fan (i'm from scotland) - in fairness i don't take offence but i know plenty of people who would - its people like that are the reason we have all these problems with bigotry - its not a joke :(

Oh, and the cost of stuff here! but the weather is nicer than i'm used to!! :)
