    I'm just looking for a good DVD ripping tool that can convert a DVD to play on my PSP.

    I used to use DVD decrypter and PSP video 9. I'm looking for software that can rip the dvd and convert it to MP4 in one go.

    There is a good few out there just dont know which one to go for. Anybody know of a good reasonably priced one that they have had no problems with.

    1. DVDDecrypter -> iso
    2. DVDShrink -> get rid of all extras + unnecessary soundtracks/subtitles
    3. DaemonTools -> to load iso as virtual dvd
    4. XviD4PSP + latest Klite Codec pack -> convert to MP4 PSP AVC using x264 HQ2 Extreme video encoding for best quality/smallest size ratio (takes a few hrs per movie but worth it)

    Thats a lot of work just to watch a vid on psp! Can't you just use DVDshrink straight away, save as a vob file (in the VIDEO_TS folder) and then convert vob to mp4? Larger file size maybe but probably less effort

    I use those steps as they produce the best picture and lowest file sizes. I used to use PSPVideo9 but XviD4PSP is much better. Each to their own I suppose.
