Question about illegal Boxes

I know these are not to be discussed. But im not asking how to get them. My question is, if UPC upgrade more MMDS areas wont that make the boxes in these areas obsolete as they are set up for MMDS areas? Does anyone know how far along are the upgrade works they have planned? Is there any areas likely to be upgraded first.…
