Have you posted this on Ravelry.com? There's a really active Irish knitters group there.

Also the Stitch and bitch Ireland mailing list on Yahoo groups.

    Are you on that?

It took me nearly a year to find mind (fine gauge knitmaster321 1979 model) I put an add in the buy and sell.
You could also try getting in touch with Limerick school of art and design of NCAD as some students might be trading up.

Be sure to research what type of machine you want, look at what type of yarn you usually hand knit wit etc.

The only one I can see is someone looking for one as a freebie.

If that link dosn't work it's this weeks Buy and sell.

I got a ribber with mine, have no idea what to do with it, I just make a double layer rib with the main machine. What do you use it for?

Hi,a Ribber is an essential part for me. It enables you to make cuffs, collars, pleats scarves, buttonbands, skirts. You attach the Ribber to your table underneathe the main part. The Ribber gauge part clicks together with the main. You get different clamps to set the both parts together. Sounds a bit confusing I know! You should really try to get the whole package together and you could make so many new and different things. I will check the buy and sell. The trouble with 2nd hand machines is getting parts and getting them serviced.A lot of them are not being made anymore unfortunately.
