Death Via Satellite is a rocktacular, electro/new wave/indie night that holds court one Friday a month in Eamonn Dorans, Dublin. Gathering momentum and a loyal crowd since July 2006, DVS brings the best bands to you with minimum fuss and maximum noise

We've already seen the likes of Love Lies Sleeping (L.A., USA), The Kits (Australia), Queen Kong, alazurussoul, Mendoza, The Ultra Montanes, Kopek, mojoFURY, Fight Like Apes, DC Pakt, Orphan Code, Distractors, Autoban, Laundry Shop, The Eclectic, Sons of Now & Stagger Lee play storming shows, & after 9 shows on Tuesdays we've moved to Friday nights so that hangover can be dealt with on a Saturday in bed rather than Wednesday in work...

DVS 26 sees HOUSE OF DOLLS bring their swaggering brand of indie stomp to the stage, where BRMC fuelled rhythms meet some crashing guitar dynamics to create a musical maelstrom that brims with the confidence of a band at the top of their game.

After a well received set at ****** 2008, OFFSHORE gear up for the release of their latest single "Small Fires/Balcony Waves" at DVS with their potent mix of moody yet vibrant darkwave/indie workouts. The shades of Interpol that may be initially apparent informs only a fraction of their potential. Catch them at DVS 26 to see what the fuss is about...

HARROWS deliver a catchy barrage of indie riffery and produce a hugely energetic sound that has won them fans, friends and admirers aplenty at their shows. Gaining a place at the 2FM Battle of the Bands final after triumphing at their heat in Whelans was a highlight, more are inevitable so get down early as they warm up the stage at DVS 26.

Late DJ's man the decks from 11.30 with a heady mix of electro & indie for all...

Doors open at 8.45, admission always a paltry €10. With DJ's til late beaming in rock/electro/indie/new wave/post punk, come early for the bands, stay late for drinking, dancing, debauchery and Death Via Satellite...
