Corsa Electrical Issue?

    Hi all,

I was driving my 2002 Corsa on Saturday when I noticed that all of the dials on the dashboard weren't working i.e. petrol showed empty, speedometer showed 0mph, indicators not working etc.

I pulled over and turned off the engine. Then when I tried to turn it back on again, it wouldn't start. The engine was starting fine, but losing 'power' immediately.

Waited about 15 mins and tried again, and everything worked no problem. It's been running fine ever since.

Any ideas on what could have happened?

I don't know but my advice would be to get the system checked for errors (at an Opel specialist or dealer).
Whatever it was could return at the most inconvienent moment!

    +1.

Had an engine light a few years back on my '96 Corsa, granted different model (when it was my mam's) and we ignored it becuase it went away. Then one morning it wouldn't start
