Xbox Live Account problem

    My Xbox Live subscription ran out and I had a 1 month sub spare.

    I redeemed the code through the Xbox site and it now says my membership level is Gold but when I sign in on the Xbox itself it's still saying I only have a Silver membership.

    Do I have to do something else? I've upgraded a few times this way with no problems.

    Leave the Xbox connected to the internet, it takes a while to update.

    Nice one, left it on for a while and signed in and out and it's updated to Gold.
