Awaiting ebay item

    I won an auction at the start of this month, 6th to be more precise, and still haven't recieved the item. I've won other items in the meantime and have recieved them (all from England) but this slipped my mind til this weekend. I contacted the seller late friday but still have heard nothing from him/her - I also checked their feedback and they haven't gotten any bad strikes recently.

    How long do I wait for a reply before I open a dispute?!

    If they haven't replied to your mail i'd open up the paypal dispute straight away. Might get the seller to reply to you faster and if you receive then its easy to cancel the dispute anyway.

    Since you only contacted them on Friday night, I'd ignore the 2 days of the weekend (as they mightn't have seen your mail), and give them 1 or 2 working days. If you have no response by tomorrow evening, start a dispute, and that should get a response.

    Also, did you contact them directly by email, or through eBay? Through eBay would be better, though not necessary, as people don't always read/see their emails, especially if busy, or spam filters might kill it. You might re-send your initial email through eBay this evening, just to be sure they get it.
