Scrabble Earrings

    Hi All,

I am looking to get my GF a set of earrings she saw in a magazine a while ago. They are scrabble tiles. Now I have looked online and the only ones I can find are the wooden tiles, whereas the tiles she liked were white.

Unfortunately, I can't remember the magazine.

Has anybody ever seen these before? Better yet would anybody be able to tell me where I could buy these?

    Any help appreciated,

    A :)

Get the earring yokey in a bead shop, and fashion your own pair.

    Inevitable guy questions:

Where are these bead shops in Dublin?

Any ideas on where I could get the white tiles with letters?

This is probably what you are looking for. They were featured in the magazines a week or two ago and loads of celebs have been seen wearing their stuff.

Great stuff they're the exact ones - thanks. Unfortunately they're all sold out :(

I've googled and googled, but just keep coming up with the wooden ones - which I think look pretty bad.

Would anybody be able to suggest any other sites/jewelers/shops I should look?

    Thanks again,

    A

Yep, those are the one's, thanks.

Now I just have to wait and see do they have the right letters:)

If anybody knows any shops that would have them around Dublin it would be much easier for me.

    My goodness, what an idea!

Why didn't I think of that? Earrings! Al, there's four places. There's the Earring Hut, that's on third. There's Earrings-R-Us, that's on third too. You got Put-Your-Lobe-There? That's on third. Matter of fact, they're all in the same complex; it's the earring complex on third, in the earring district. You know, there's a little place called Mary Ann's Earrings. The nice thing about that place is Mary Ann makes the earrings for you.

The tiles come in a game of Scrabble. Just buy the game, pick out the letters you want and stick them onto some earrings. Or if you're feeling a bit stingy find someone who owns Scrabble, distract them and borrow some of their letters.

Noblestee, please read the charter regarding unhelpful and off topic posting.:D

On topic. I ordered the earrings off etsy.com. Some nice stuff on there. Thanks to those who helped out.

Sorry guys. I'm going to have to bump this thread.

I've ordered the earrings, yet I'm not sure if they're going to be here on time.

Luckily I have friend who was kind enough to give me the letters. Now I need to find a place that will turn the tiles into earrings. Does anybody have any suggestions please?
