Child models

I searched and, well, the results were a little dubious, so my instinct is to put this here.

My question is does anyone know of an agency which deals in child models?

My cousin has two kids who would be ideal and the daughter would definitely love to do it.

Right, I'm an AH mod. I don't read this forum, but as an AH mod I'm very wary of posting anything like this. Anyone who reads AH will understand my concerns.

I just want to point out that both parents consent to this. The children (especially the extrovert daughter) are willing to partake.
I'm talking the likes of adverts. Magazines, tv etc.

We do know someone high up in Assets, but the mother doesn't want any favouritism. She wants her kids there on their own merits.
I don't know if assets deal with child models though. We haven't really had much contact with this Assets person in a long time, but he used to be a close family friend and is very high up in the company now.

I would be leaning more towards Assets because of this connection and because I/we trust the person involved and are sure the kids would not be exploited.

I didn't put this in parenting because, as I have already stated, both parents consent to this and the kids will not be pushed into it. If the kids don't want to participate, then that will be the end of it.

If anyone has links to any reputable sites, this would be appreciated.

To answer one question I think Assets have children on their books for commercial things Ad's etc.

Tbh, Terry, if you know someone in an agency, go for it - Everyone else will, or at least, would if they could - It's an industry based around the 'It's not what you know, it's who you know' scheme.

If your friend in Assets isn't willing to take 'em on, he'll know someone else that's good for it.

I'm all for using the connection.
It's their mother who doesn't want to.
I checked the assets website and didn't see anything there, but I sent an e-mail anyway.
I'm going to assume that they won't get back to me until Moday afternoon, due to their hectic lifestyles .

What spurred me on to do this was noticing a picture in the pharmacy. It was on a box of photo film (fuji or something), but the child in the pic is a doppelganger for my cousin's child (My cousin had already mentioned it to me in the past, but nothing came of it because I forgot to do anything about it).

I then thought that if the girl in the pic could do it, then so could <name omitted>.

I'll see my cousin later today and run the idea of using the connection past her again.

Well, your contact will only be getting you in the door, it's the kids own merit's that'll get her work.

So essentially, you're just using the contact to get in there, and letting the kid go from there. I know the pic for the Fuji labs alright. There should be plenty of commercial work out there.

Assets do take kids on their books, or they at least used to. It's well known and if you have a contact in there use it!
