I just installed a water softner on the path outside the kitchen window, does anybody have any experience of any type of housing that I could put around it? Would need access/or be able to lift off to top up the salt.

Getting something specially made would be expensive I presume.

This is something I'm looking into myself, as a temp cover the brother in law built a simply wooden box around it which is doing a great job for now..keeps it dry anyway.

From what I've seen anything suitable would really have to be made for it,

[edit]I see you asked before too http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055379051 :)
