Came across this web site http://www.st6-airsoft.com/mesh_goggles.htm while looking for an alternative to fogging goggles.
I orderd two pairs and got them with in four days. Skirmished them today and they are great.
Tested them at point blank, it only left a mark on the paint.

Just another alternative to Sensai masks etc.
Good vision out of the peripherals as well.
Don't think they've been mentioned before (if they have sorry)

Just thought it might be of interest to players.:)

I bought the 'Bulldog' and the 'Battle ready' goggles.
The Buldog will fit over a normal size pair of specs. A mate of mine wears specs and tried them on and they fit quite well, also Bren in fingal had them on over his glasses.

i must be a lucky guy

Sharad: Mine never had a problem, nor did vtec, or gerrowout.

I think it was people not putitng the lenses in probably, then blaming the glasses instead of their stupidity.

I was going to get some of these a while back but some stamped meshes (sold by many airsoft retailed here & abroad) aren't as strong as woven mesh.

Out of curiosity; what range is "point blank", less than 12"? how many shots did you fire?

About three or four inches away from the mesh. Firesd 3 shots. (Fps around 300)
They seem to be slightly heavier gauge than Sensai masks.
They quality is very good. Showed them to a couple of lads on saturday up in Fingal and they all seemed quite impressed with them.

It's the other way around, Stamped mesh is supposed to be strong than woven mesh?

    Thanks!
How did you find the battle ready ones for comfort?
I got the "ground zero" frames from another retailer, they had a tendency to slip up slightly.

The stamped mesh I tested was far weaker than the woven mesh I tested; both meshes came from readily available masks. edit: that's why I was just checking how he tested the Bitter End mesh.

Not too bad. Wore the Battle ready all day on Saturday and my mate had the bulldog ones on. Quite comfortable , no movement slipping that I noticed. Was wearing a Neoprene face mask with them and the fitted in very well. They are a nice compact size.Took a few direct shots during the games and no bother to them. I was concerned that I might get a few BB's splitting, (but because of the flatter surface of stamped over wire mesh), thankfully none did.:o
