AVG Question

    Hiya's

Quick question - after being anti-virus-less for a little while, I dowloaded the free version of AVG last week (from the link on here, before anyone asks ;) )

However, i've noticed the laptop is a lot slower at startup since putting the AVG on, its very noticable, i'd say a good couple of minutes longer to respond once the desktop is loaded - does AVG use that amount of resources to slow it down that much? Once it starts responding its absolutely grand, so I'm happy to live with it if its just a side-effect!

    Thanks in advance :)

What's your security system (in English what programs do you have to counter malware)? How much RAM do you have?

Then run an AVG scan and a few anti-spyware scans, it's possible your computer has a virus or too much spyware for the computer to handle.

Also AVG does use some rescourses, but well I doubt it should make a huge different in your computer speed.
