I just saw this the other night and I was actually very surprised. Normally a film starring Jason Statham would be the kind of thing i would avoid like the plague (How did they manage to make 3 Transporter movies?)
Fare dues though, he was alright in it. It was a good story told well. I don't know how close to the truth the film is even though it says it is based on a true story. I don't know what anyone else though of it?

Saw it a while ago actually, thought it was very good.
However, I'm pretty sure that the truth was stretched for the movie.
    Entertaining though, nonetheless.

Big Statham fan and do believe that the man gets the short straw when people criticise his acting ability. Check out Revolver to see jsut how good an actor he is, the film is infamous for how supposedly bad it is but I love it to bits and will often be found defending it in my film classes.

Really liked The Bank Job when I saw it in the cinema but the film is no ways a true account of what happened. In reality the robbers were caught and I believe they have spent the years since in prison. Think I may go watch the Blu Ray now, been waiting for an excuse to watch it since I bought it.

I thought that it was a pretty good film. The story was interesting and and had alot of different characters. All the little side plots were tied nicely together and made the film seem very real. The cast did a good job and it was nice to see some old faces again.

    I would definately recomend it.
