For real, was talking to a Coke rep at work. Applies to only coke and diet coke but not coke products like fanta and pepsi. Just for the 2 days only

Tesco have become the most expensive for two litres OF Pepsi recently upping the price of 2L to 1.89. There seemed to be a shortage of stock of the very nice Irish Pepsi bottles towards the end of the year. I heard something about liquidation but stocks have always remained in other stores so must be a Tesco problem. They replaced with UK 2L until Irish stocks came back in but the price used to be 1.58 as it is in the other large supermarkets.
Crazy "deals" like 2x2 litre in multi pack 4.10 and 2x2 litre without multipack are 3 euros.
Tesco are doing very little in the way of deals.
I expected a lot more deals from all stores and it appears that isn't happening.

It's not a problem as such for tesco. They are buying a lot of their products in the UK and transporting them over.
I can assure you there is no shortage of Pepsi from Britvic Ireland

Glad to hear that. For what it's worth, I believe the Irish Pepsi bottled by Britvic Ireland is always the freshest, fizziest and tastiest 2l product.
I seek it out and gave up on Coca Cola a long time ago.
The product they ship in 2l is the dregs of the vats in my opinion. They don't want you getting 2l of something they charge 1.20+ for a small bottle.
I'm convinced the product that Coke put in those 2l isn't as good as say from a can.
But I find the product from Pepsi Ireland to be so fresh, it's fantastic.
What was the story with them being liquidated last year?.
Again, so glad I can still expect to see Irish Pepsi.
