Worst airsoft gun you've ever owned.

Theres been plenty of best gun/favourite gun, fantasy gun threads, but what about nightmare experiences with airsoft?

My worst is my WE luger, sitting broken in the wardrobe, I'm going to have a whack at it with chemical metal soon, to see if I can repair it.
I got a leather holster and spare mag for it, I wanted to have it as the pride of my gbbs, but it was crap.

The mags leaked when I got them, the gun was fussy in anything other than room temperature, and the hop rubber was absolutely trashed, bits hanging out of it. Barrel was a bit rubbish too, paint etc. etc.

I will get it working hopefully though, and replace the hop and I'll have a nice piece.

I had a WE hi-capa once also, was a bit rubbish, and I put about 10 hours into reshaping and modifying the internals to get it working, which I did.
By the time it was fixed I sold it on, my interest in its hideous looks and crappy internals was gone, I believe the guy who bought it was very happy with the gun in the end, as it worked perfectly and still does afaik.

Thats pretty much my worst guns.

    KWC P99

Blew up on me while I was firing it.

Never worked properly to begin with, but blowing up? that's just dangerous.

DBoys M4 CQB. I've ranted about it in these forums enough, but in a nutshell, I've stopped even trying to repair it. It has yet to work a full 10 minutes without failing in some way, and that's since purchase (the retailer claimed to have had it repaired, but it was obvious that it had never been opened). Potentially good kit, but for me, rubbish.

Ironically, it was my first AEG, and it's what sold me on airsoft. As well as all of you, God help me.

Edit: I'd like to clear something up here. I can't mention the retailer I originally bought it from for various reasons (some of them for my own good, and some of them because of Boards rules ;) ), but later on I got lots of help from Eirsoft with advice and parts to get it working, and get it under 1J. If I'd bought it from them in the first place... Well, I don't think I'd be complaining about it now.

    C'est la vie.

JG bar 10 , although it was a great rifle, it compeltely put me off sniping, same accuracy as my AEG's, same distance, dont see the point in sniping. Put me off the role completely.

    Quality gun though

DBoys M4A1. HATE the plasticky feel of it, it felt flimsy in my hands, and it sounded like a ****ing cheese grater. Never got rid of a gun so fast.

TM SR16 developed horrible barrel wobbled, receiver broke and had numerous internal problems.Other people have found it great but was largely responsible for my transition to AKs.

JLS FN2000. I love that gun but the JLS version of it had so many flaws in quality I couldn't stick it anymore. There's an insane part of my head that's willing to get another one and just put up with the defects because I loved the feel and balance of it. Luckily G&G are doing one some time this year.

    JLS Fn2000 ia deadly.
I actually bought the one dex is referring to and i love it. theres a few things you can do to improve it though and the plastic finish is a bit cheap looking. that can be helped with a lick of paint, Thats exactly what i did myself and the gun is fantastic!

Same as that. I was going to add a footnote that maybe I could fix it but if you can't fix yours theirs not much hope of me fixing mine. I got a spare mag for it that was just as useless as the one that came with it. BBs just roll out of the barrel if it's not held slightly up. Terrible, terrible gun.

I knew it would have been good had I put some time and money into it, but at that stage I was just so fed up with it. I'd nearly get another one and do a job in it.

Sella taped the be jasus out of it, but i could barely fire two shots in a row...
Plus the rubber butt rusts, that's just impressive really.

    2. galaxy mp7 [bought a damaged one cheap with different symptoms to the well version with the intention of getting atleast one of them up and running ]

    3. mp7 hybrid with parts from both the above guns [the best bits from 2 pieces of ****e will never be equal to something thats not ****e ]

    4. Cyma glock Aep, always worked fine but ill never get an Aep again having owned it.

Both Elephant G36, worst of the worst. Got it for €80 when wasn't 100% if it was legal or not and it was the worst of the worst, came with a front grip, red dot, and laser and they where all rubbish. think it shot about .5 joule it fealt like a toy gun i had when i was like 7, put me off clones for a good while until i realised that it wasn't a clone just a piece of sh1t

Well I've seen people mention other guns like that as worst gun they've owned, like the cm.022 and asg m4 as well, but that's not really fair considering what is paid for them. Like I also have a cm.022 and yes it was weak, inaccurate, and fragile, but I paid 30 euro for it and for that money yeah, it was pretty alright. If you paid 80E for a BE G36 then.....I don't know what to say except who an earth would spend that sort of money on an lpeg!! I had one of those cheap G36's as well except I paid 40 for it, again for the money it was alright.

I've never really owned a terrible gun - yes I've owned countless lpeg's, but nearly all of them do what they say on the tin - come with a load of tacky accessories, last for a few thousand rounds, and shoot at about 200fps. Even then once you've broken them, they're great for wall hangers. So I wouldn't ever say that any of those guns were the worst gun I've ever owned, even though on a purely technical basis they would be.

Worst gun I've ever owned would be the ASG Franchi 3A, it looks decent but it continuously jams, my friends broke after about 10 rounds. So on that count I rate it the worst gun, as it wasn't remotely reliable. The fact that is was only 45 euro is irrelevant - it simply couldn't do the most elementary thing reliably...fire.

Never really owned a bad AEG or Pistol...did have a JG 18C but sold it on without firing a single shot so reckon that might have been a contender from what a few people have said, my other guns are a DE M3 Super 90, a kjw m9 and a g&g ak47, never so much as an ounce of trouble between them.

TM M4 RIS, what a load of dung. It crono at 250fps, a massive amount of barrel wobble and totaly overpriced. Its now a mass of nuts and bolts at the moment. I stripped it to put a g&p metal bodie on it, and half way trough it i said F%^k IT. Plus it was my first aeg.

Notice that at least 90% of the AEG's and GBB's are cheep brands!!
Most of us have learnt the hard way.
Me, it was 3 Dboy's M4's (all 3 of em lasted no more than 2 months)

It goes to show, its better to get a good Brand at a higher price, than go through loads of cheep S##T.

(Not saying that all good brands are good) all AEG's and GBB's will cause trouble
at some stage. Some less than others. (And I have the ability to break water!) :(

It pays to invest in what you love, because cheep, may just cost you more in the
    long run.

    Just my 2 bob.

I can't mention the retailer I originally bought it from for various reasons (some of them for my own good, and some of them because of Boards rules ;) ) but it was malfunctioning out of the box, and firing at well over 1J...

The worst out of 3 ia my GBB pistol, only because the hammer won't lock back reliably (Which actually give full-auto fire, but I'm afraid to use it incase of damaging it) WA 6" Infinity.

It's just the hop unit in it that's knackered. I use it for parts when I convert my CA G36K into the C model sometimes. I'm also going to use it for donor parts when my G36K packs it in.

My 1st bb gun, looked so good on the site, when I got it it was already falling apart, motor never even came close to the 330fps claim on the site, so sick of it that I binned it' got a tm famas and never looked back, never compromise is the key with airsoft

1 - bbgun is not airsoft. Please use the correct terminology.

2 - 330fps is over the 1j limit. The charter states not to discuss airsoft over 1 joule. I'd advise you to have a read of it.
