    Hi,

Apologies if this is the wrong fourm - please move if so.

I remember seeing an article in the Examiner in the last few days which said that there was a clinic in Dublin offering the cervical cancer vaccine at the reduced rate of i think €240. I can't remember the name of the clinic nor can I find the article in either hard copy or on examiner.ie

Does anyone know the name of this clinic please? I've tried calling the Wellwoman Clinic in DunLaoghaire and it's not them as far as I can make out. Does anyone know which clinic was mentioned in the article. I've tried googling to no avail.

    thanks.

The clinic is in Smithfield. The offer, as far as I can remember, is in conjunction with Hibernian Aviva insurance company. Twas on the Gerry Ryan Show last week. Hope this helps.

Hmm, don't remember it saying anything about Hibernian Aviva. Will look into it though.

    Thanks.

This article in The Irish Times, refers to agencies trying to reduce the cost.

    Hi, thanks for replies.

I've done a bit of research over the weekend in relation to this jab as my sister was looking to get it done for her daughter. Anyway, what I've found is the price varies greatly from place to place so I'd advises anyone interested to shop around. I'm in Cork myself and I've found one doctors surgery is charging €700 and another one €420 so there's a huge difference!!
