Do you wear leggings on their own?

Ladies, do you wear leggings as bottoms in themselves, or do you just wear them under skirts?

I only wear them under skirts as I think of them as like an alternative to tights. I'd feel naked wearing them on their own with a t-shirt or something!
Is it just me???

Ugh no. I'd see them as the basically the same as tights aswell. I hate seeing girls wearing them like trousers. Fair play if someone has the bum to pull em off though!

way too many times have i seen girls wearing leggings after they've been sitting down, the arse of the legging goes all saggy and my OH pointed out the arse sort of jiggles in them when you walk because you have no support down there. :P

So personally, id only wear them under long jumpers or skirts.

leggins are NOT to be worn as trousers, they're to be worn under a skirt or very long top etc.

I think it looks really trashy on it's own. and you need a VERY nicely toned bum if you're to even try it.

they look like tights on their own - nasty! even if you do have a toned bum, they sag and makes your bum look saggy too!
worn under really long tops or jumpers looks great though, once your hips and bum is covered they give you a lil more leeway on shortness without looking like a tramp

I only wear them on their own with a very long tunic or cardigan, something that fully covers my derierre and hits a least to mid-thigh, usually with flat equestrian style boots.

Wrong, wrong, wrong.... Leggings should never be worn on their own, even if you have the figure to do it.... They just look awful, regardless of becoming loose and saggy around the backside... There are other options to show off your figure, such as tight jeans, etc.

They look awful worn on their own. I can't understand it at all, i'd feel like i was walking around in a pair of tights... I think they look great under long tops as long as your posterior is covered.

How can we spread the word that this is sick and wrong??

I don't think that's something that anyone does by choice. It's happened to me once or twice because I'm tall and 'one size fits all' tights lie! The crotch on some of them barely comes past my knees.

I've seen one woman ever look good in leggings worn as trousers. For the vast majority of us, wearing them like tights is a much better idea.

Pfff, i've a rake of leggings and often wear them as an alternative to jeans or whatever, but always wear a top or cardigan long enough to cover my ass and so i don't get that horrible legging dick look around the crotch area.

I have to say I disagree with these comments. I usually wear a long cardigan with them but as I have a tiny bum, which is crap in every other type of trousers, it actually suits leggings. The main reason I wouldn't wear them without some sort of a long top is more to avoid danger of the dreaded camel toe. They always leave me feeling a little bit unsettled and exposed in that respect.

But I've seen skinny girls pull them off as trousers and they look great if they have long toned legs. I think they should be outlawed under denim skirts though. Yuck.

I was going into the Four Courts recently and I was behind a woman who was all dressed up for court - with leggings! It was the first time I'd ever seen them being worn on their own and I hope to God that it's the last time. It turned my stomach for quite a while.

Cannot understand people who don't wear something over them, especially someone going to court! I also see them as an alternative to tights. The amount of jiggly arses, with almightly camel toes, wandering around is insane. Is it that hard to remember your skirt/shorts/long top?
