I bought lovely knee high black leather boots today, 2" heel, little buckle on the side.
Love em but i cant think what to wear em with now?

Im afraid if i wear them with skirts it looks a lil hookery?
Tucked black skinny jeans into em and it looks really good, but with regular blue jeans not so much.

they were quite expensive though, and i dont wanna limit myself to just one outfit with them so any suggestions of a classy/funky looking outfit with knee high leather boots?

or should i just stock up on black skinny jeans :p

Any chance you could put up a photo of them? Just to have more of an idea of what they look like and would go with. Maybe try tights with them and skirts...

With a 2" heel they'll look anything but 'hookery', so skirts as well as jeans would be grand.

  • I know what you mean, I feel a bit 'hookery' wearing heeled boots with skirts. I have a similar pair to yours, I wear them with skinny blue or indigo jeans.

That's always my worry with boots too! Leather ones anyway.

Would a thick pair of tights or leggings remove the "hooker"-y aspect?

they don't sound high enough to be hookery and sure they are only knee high not thigh high lol. I have similar boots and I always wear tights and or/knee high socks with them (for warmth mostly, but I hate being bare legged too :P )

i tried em with skirts and black tights an i dunno.. didnt look too great.
maybe i have to get the perfect skirt.
think black skinnys are my only option then?

oh and sorry i know i got the heel height a little off!! make that 3 1/2''!

Well they are certainly not 'hookery' and are in fact quite stylish. They'll definetly look excellent with jeans and could go well with a skirt, but as you say it's a question of getting the right one.

What about dresses with tights? It doesn't feel as hookery with dresses I find. Lovely boots btw!

I think if you kept the look monochromatic, including the tights, you would not look like a hooker. Also the skirt should not be too short, maybe a black pencil skirt with black tights??

I don't think they are hookery at all, I would defo wear them with skirts/ dresses. But with tights on also

Boots look beaut...like a previous poster mentioned, go with the monochromatic look, i have boots similar and wear them with my multitude of wrap dresses and skirts..and have been nicely complimented too!
