I heard the organizer was going to have it in the same venue as some tournament he was playing in this week, it was up to each qualifier to make their own way there

Hasnt been announced yet. It'll be in Dublin is about all I know.

I cannot recall what the plan was to hold the final of the league, I used to work with Steve but its so long since, that I cant remember what was planned

Realistically, I would suggest that it has to be somewhere central, so thats probably Dublin, though you will have to wait til he gets back from Oz to be certain

regardless of where its held, some players will have to travel and be inconvenienced, but for a free Irish Open Ticket, I wouldnt think the small travel hassle would be worth it

I think he is due back next week, so,,,,,,hang on in there and best of luck in the final

21st March in the Crowne Plaza Hotel (going to hold it on the same day as the ladies event); full details to be confirmed shortly and I'll have emails out to everyone etc to make sure everyone knows about it.
