Which is cheaper for VRT (or does it matter) Petrol or Diesel?

I'm trying to find the charge on a 2008 1.6 Diesel Peugeot 207 hatchback, but i can not find anything.

Diesel usually have lower C02 emissions on which VRT is based.

Have you even gone on the VRT calculator? Without exact details from you this is what you get

    VEHICLE REGISTRATION TAX (VRT) ENQUIRY

If you have documentary evidence that the CO2 emissions differ from the above, you may enter the CO2 emissions in the box provided and recalculate the VRT by selecting the Recalculate button.
