Anyone know what the story is with this???

Have they finally decided to get into the sack with Ryanair???

Interesting (and worrying)... No word yet?

It's a weird move for a company that is run by the unions that they have a big surprise "announcement".

Maybe they're going to tell us they've taken the runways in again!

The briefing was two hours ago now.

Any news as to what it was all about?

It had got to do with the linking up some years back with United Airways in the States. They (united) are in financial difficulty and Mannion was reassuring that it had not affected them.

They have signed a partnership deal with United.

Not a sausage, I wonder was the news article a mistake or something. Nothing on a 4PM news on the radio.

Probably because it is hardly worth reporting!

A new partnership with United Airlines.

Today FM news reported at 3pm about a partnership deal with United Airlines.

Can't find any news about it in the today fm website though.

The code share with United is in place since October 2008, at which point they dropped the code share with American.

I was going to post "Yawn..." but if it helps to keep people in jobs, its always a good thing to report.

United are goners, they posted a net loss of $1.3 billion.

Then again aerlingus seems to be allergic to success.
