audio ahead of video while streaming

    when I stream vids from sites like megaupload etc there is a very noticiable delay on the video, it seems like the audio is a couple of secs ahead I get this in some of my video on my harddrive. I'm pretty sure this is a codec issue I'm just unsure how to resolve it.

    uninstall all codecs and install the k-lite codec pack.

    Is it only in some videos? Sometimes when the user uploads them, the service encoder doesn't handle the file properly, and as a result the sync drifts, nothing you can do if that is the case

    Doesn't apply to video steaming but i have a set of bluetooth headphones and the audio lags a very small amount which is annoying.

    VLC player has a option to adjust the time which it lags or leads so you can offset it.
